“The perfect plan is always my goal.”
For more than three decades, Phyllis Mitchell has worked with clients to help them make intelligent financial and investment decisions so they may reach their financial goals, no matter how simple or complex.
Phyllis believes that client service is as important as integrity, independence and trust, and has built her practice on these cornerstones. Her love for people was and is the motivation to be in the financial planning and investment business. She wants her clients to know she will always go the “extra mile” to get the right answer for them. She feels that being truly independent allows her to find the most appropriate investment vehicle. She emphasizes that all relationships must be built on mutual understanding, trust, and has made this the foundation of her business.
Mrs. Mitchell takes a financial planning approach to investing with all types of clients but specializes in Wealth Management. She coordinates with CPAs and attorneys on many cases, to make sure that investment, tax and estate planning issues are fully addressed together for the client’s most efficient plan. It is a priority that the client understand why particular recommendations are made, so education is a key and ongoing component of the process between her and the client.
She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, and is an Investment Advisor Representative with Cambridge Investment Research Advisors, Inc., and a Registered Representative with Cambridge Investment Research, Inc. She has a Bachelor’s degree from The University of Delaware, and a Master’s degree from The University of Oklahoma. She is also a Certified Financial Fiduciary®, and a Certified Mutual Funds Specialist. She has taught financial planning at Salisbury University and has been a speaker to civic, business, and social groups on financial, investment, tax, and estate planning topics for over 35 years. She has written many financial articles for local newspapers over her career. She is a member of the Financial Planning Association, Investment Services Institute, and Financial Services Institute.
